Sara Reed is a twenty-year veteran of the recruiting and corporate HR industry. At one point Sara found herself in the same position as many of her clients. "After so many years in a restrictive environment, I felt stuck and trapped in my job," she recalls. She had become a shell of herself and sensed that she had lost her power and purpose.
Sara recognized it was time to make a change but she’d have to come face-to-face with a part of herself she’d never really unlocked.
We’ve all got this part in each of us. It’s the place where gut, emotion and intuition communicate to us with what’s essential and true for our lives. Sara relearned how to listen to herself and changed her negative thinking patterns about herself and her work.
Sara's coaching memes:
- Networking is all about trust. When you feel good about what you’re doing, you have a lot more success with it.
- Focus on what you want, by paying attention to what you want, and not focusing on negative patterns.
- It’s important to have an external person, such as a coach to reflect back with total truth and honesty with what’s going on.
